Sitges is the most beautiful coast village you can visit close to Barcelona. You will find many beautiful modernists houses and museums of late nineteenth century. The most famous is the House of the Catalan painter and writer Santiago Rusinyol, refuge of many modernist and vanguard artists from all over Europe.

You will also enjoy its beach, its gastronomy and many festivals which are taking place during the year. This town is also famous for its gayfriendly festivals and bars.
