For nearly 800 years, the St. Nicholas Church dominates the center of Berlin. The church is located in the middle of the Nikolaiviertel - the oldest residential area in Berlin is characterized by medieval streets. The stone basement floors of the twin tower system are considered the oldest areas of Berlin that are still preserved. The permanent exhibition "From foundations to twin spiers" allows an insight into the history of the Church and the Nikolai quarter. Events, concerts and a weekly finale with organ music are held. There is a separate program for children and adolescents.
