Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek (in Danish) is an art museum of international stature in the centre of Copenhagen, founded in 1888 by the brewer Carl Jacobsen (1842-1914). The museum contains two main departments of ancient and modern art, offering a unique combination of art in impressive architectural surroundings.

On Tuesdays, the entrance is free!

Check the garden located at the back of Glyptotek. It's a great place for picnic, not as crowded as the most popular picnic spots in the city centre.
