Tivoli Gardens is a famous Danish and the second-oldest operating amusement garden in the world. Best known for one of the world's oldest wooden roller coaster, from 1914, still operating today.

There is something for everyone in Tivoli, architecture, gardens, restaurants, shops, concerts, carousels and roller coasters. Simply, a MUST for all visitors of Copenhagen city - old and young ones.

Tivoli is located just 50 m from the Copenhagen Central station and just a few minutes walk from the City Hall and Strøget.

Before your visit, it is important to check Tivoli's calendar available on their website. There are four seasons of Tivoli Gardens: summer, winter, Halloween and Christmas. Opening hours might vary and simply to avoid queues in the busiest times of the year, think about buying your ticket online.

To check all the events and concerts happening at the Tivoli Gardens, see the calendar on their website. It gets very crowded during Friday Rocks concerts, so if you are not interested in participating in a music event plan your visit during the day, not in the evening. It is allowed to bring your picnic basket, but the choice of restaurants in Tivoli is pretty wide.

Did you know that Hans Christian Andersen as well as Walt Diney visited and got inspired by Tivoli many times? They loved it here and you will too! <3

You might not be into this kind of attractions, but if you like good music, check the Tivoli's website and program for Friday Rock concerts, they are usually really good!
