Elisabethmarkt

As one of the four permanent food markets in Munich, the Elisabethmarkt is the smaller and more relaxed alternative to the Viktualienmarkt. Tourists usually don’t get here often, but in the hearts of the locals, the market, charming in its own way with its 24 booths (called "Standl”) and narrow alleys, has gained a safe spot.

But even on the small area, the Elisabethmarkt still delivers great variety of its offerings. You can find interesting shops for fruits, vegetables, cheese, meat, fish, pastries, delicacies, wine, beer, flowers and more - local, imported, organic or homemade. It even boasts its own cafés and beer garden.

On Sundays the market is closed.
