Jamboree was inaugurated in 1960 as one of the reference jazz clubs of the city in the crowded and centric Plaza Real, next to La Rambla. Its name means 'gathering of tribes' since in its beginnings it was a club where you could listen to jazz records and join to talks related to the genre, although it did not take long to become an international reference within the Jazz scene.
Today it is still a Jazz club that hosts live music concerts every day of the year. After the concert the Jamboree cave becomes a dancing club with the best black music DJ sessions.

Sor Rita is one of those bars that you won’t forget due either you dislike or you love its transgressive and bizarre decoration which reminds of Pedro Almodóvar's films. Heels hanging from the ceiling, leopard-covered stools, Barbie heads forming a heart ... are some of the details you can find in Sor. Rita. The music which they define as ‘Retropetarda’ definitely fits with the decoration of the place.
Furthermore, every day of the week Sor Rita will delight you with one of its original and crappy proposals:
- Tarot Monday: TAROT + CÓKTEL session for 14 euros from 8pm to 11pm (Reservation required)
- Aperitif Tuesday: For € 7 you can have a glass of wine or beer, you can eat a variety of salads, hummus, fuet, chorizo and montaditos.
-Karaoke Thursdays: Kutreoke session, the only crappy and free karaoke of the Gothic neighborhood with costumes available included.
- Dobingo: Karaoke and bingo included!
Sor Rita is definitively a unique bar where you will never get bored and in which you will also enjoy a succulent offer of drinks and good cocktails that always comes with a generous handful of salted pipes.
Cocktail Recommendation: Bloodymary!
Every day from 7:00 p.m. to 3 a.m.
