Van Gogh Alive arrives in Madrid. The most visited multimedia exhibition in the world will be on display at the Círculo de Bellas Artes until 26 February. Van Gogh Alive has already visited 40 cities on four continents, including Alicante. It is one of the art exhibitions that does not leave indifferent. Very different from all of them. Here visitors can interact with Van Gogh's pieces through the different senses. Piano en penumbra will be presented in the chiaroscuro of the Sala de Orquesta del Teatro Real. It will take place in February on the 15th, 16th, 17th, 22nd, 23rd and 24th of February 2019. Piano en penumbra is a classical music show aimed at children and performed by the pianist Marta Espinos and the singer Fernando Palacios.

The April Tamborrada in the Plaza Mayor is an event that if you're in Madrid you can't miss. To put an end to Holy Week in Madrid, the Royal and Illustrious Congregation of Our Lady of Solitude and Desamparo organized this drum with the collaboration of the City of Madrid.
After the celebration of the Holy Mass, the Tamborrada will depart from the Convent of Las Carboneras (Plaza Conde de Miranda) at 11:45 h towards the Plaza Mayor, to begin there around 12:00 h this famous Tamborrada.
