Plainpalais Fleamarket

Markets / Specialties

You thought Geneva was only luxury and high-price-shopping?! Obviously, you have never been to the Plainpalais Fleamarket before!
This is one of the biggest fleamarkets in the region and is hold every wednesday and every saturday, as well as every first Sunday of the month - all year long! Usually selling starts at 06:30h in the morning and the market closes at 17:15h in wintertime and 18:15h in summertime.

You will find everything you can imagine here: from old records to antique books and painting. From beautiful retro handbags to real vintage clothing. Even bikes are sold here!

The best bargains are usually made in the early morning, but in the afternoon prices may drop again.
City Manager’s suggestion: grab a coffee to go and stroll across the Plaine de Plainpalais before you go for a delicious breakfast in one of the lovely cafés all around here.
