St. Stephen’s Basilica of Budapest is one of the most beautiful and significant churches and touristic attractions of the country. This is partly due to its historical heritage of being dedicated to the holy king St. Stephen who was also the founder of the Hungarian state in 896 and the height of the Basilica is 96 metres, and partly to the architectural and artistic value of the building itself. Visitors can see King Stephen’s right hand, known as the Holy Right. But there are regular masses and weddings hold here as well.

You can also go up to the top of St. Stephen's Basilica and enjoy the panoramic view. The lookout is open between Nov-March 10:00-16:30, Jun-Sept 10:00-18:30 and in April & May & October from 10:00-17:30.
Entrance fee is free to the church and costs 600 HUF for adults and 400 HUF for students and pensioners to the panoramic lookout.

In front of the church there are many bars and restaurants where you sit on the street with a very nice atmosphere and enjoy the view. Also there is thre famous clubs located in Zrínyi street and nearby
