A huge clock made of… flowers! This floral clock called “Horloge Fleurie” is an artwork which was designed as an hommage to the long and rich watchmaking tradition in Geneva. It was first set-up in the 1950s and even up to today, the secondhand is the longest secondhand in the world! The clock is located in the English Garden (“Jardin Anglais”) right at the corner of the Pont du Mont-Blanc and the Quai du Général Guisan. This corner is one of the most photographed spots all over the city of Geneva, so don’t forget to take your photo!
Every few months the gardeners of the city give the flower clock a new seasonal design, so it’s worth to take a look at the clock during every new visit to the city of Geneva. Additionally, the park behind the clock is worth a visit!
