The MEG (Museum of Ethnography/Musée d'ethnographie) is a museum profoundly humane and open to the world. It is a place to discover actual and ancient civilizations. The MEG exhibits collections covering several centuries of history and more than a hundred cultures. The permanent exhibition is completed by temporary exhibitions, showing the hidden treasures of the museum. While the additional exhibitions are only open for a small entrance fee, the permanent exhibition is free of charge.
The Musée d'ethnographie is a real gem in Genevas museum landscape - not only because of its wonderful exhibition, but also because of the beautiful arcitecture of the museum itself. Don’t miss to admire the modern facade!
