Adventure, Leisure Time, Guided Tours
Tram 28 is one of the Lisbon’s famous yellow trams. The Tram 28 is an historical journey through the hills and main points of Lisbon. To enjoy a ride on the famous Tram you will only have to pay a normal ticket and then you can enjoy the whole ride – it is part of the city’s public transportation network, so don’t expect it to be the standard touristic kind of activity. Tram 28 line was inaugurated in 1914, covering today a 7km route from Martim Moniz to the Prazeres Neighborhood. If you want to make a tour through Lisbon without expending too much money, then Tram 28 is a perfect solution for you! We recommend you to go very early in the morning to avoid the huge crowds. Specially try to avoid the 8am-9am time and the 5pm-7pm period, since this can be the most crowded and confusing one. Also, be aware of pickpockets, since this is a very closed and tiny place where everybody is always hopping in and out. Take the chance to take a picture with this attraction, since the Lisbon's yellow trams are one of our city's trade marks!
