The Vasa ship sank in 1628, and after more than 300 years at the bottom of the sea, it was salvaged and is today up for display at its very own museum. The Vasa Museum is the most visited museum in all of Scandinavia.
At the Vasa Museum, you can learn everything about the worlds only preserved 17th century ship. The museum as well as other companies offer daily guided tours, but you may also stroll around on your own. Naturally, the Vasa Museum is located right by the water on the island of Djurgården.
